GILLINGHAM WORK (JOB) CLUB

Filling a job vacancy can be an expensive and time-consuming task.
Gillingham Work (Job) Club can help you save that time and money.

We are providing a resource which links local job seekers to local employers, so getting in touch with us the next time you need to fill a vacancy could find you a suitable local person more quickly and at no cost.

The Club meets every Friday at Gillingham Town Hall and gives practical help and advice to anyone of any age looking for work in the area. We help job seekers to update their CVs, to assess their skills and experience and to help them to think realistically about their work life aims and their abilities.

The next time you have a vacancy to fill, whether it is for employment, a voluntary position or an apprenticeship scheme; why not send us the full details so they are seen by as many local people as possible?

We inform suitable job seekers of your vacancies and point them in your direction – in effect we provide a filtering service that may save you from time-wasting interviews. All we ask is that you give us feedback about the members we send you and let us know when the vacancy has been filled.

We do not charge you to advertise your jobs through our organisation or our web site, and there is no placement fee when you employ one of our members. We are a non-profit making organisation, run by trained local volunteers relying on public donations of finance and equipment, e.g. second-hand laptops.
